Paul Lefort, PDG du Groupe Synovia, attend l'arrivée de Romy Laval, experte en semi-conducteurs, venue à Solvien pour son accouchement, afin de développer son entreprise. Mais sur le vol, son fils Alex Morel et sa mère Élodie Giraud provoquent un chaos : Alex vole le porte-documents de Romy et endommage plans et puces, déclenchant la rupture des eaux. À l'atterrissage, Paul découvre Romy gravement blessée, tandis que son fils et sa mère observent, amusés.
